Netherlands appoint Van Nistelrooy as assistant coach.

Holland appoints former Real Madrid striker as assistant coach.

                                          

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid striker has been named as one of Guus Hiddink's assistant coaches with the Holland team.

 
Netherlands also appointed Patrick Lodewijks as goalkeeping coach to replace Frans Hoek.

Pierre Van Hooijdonk, Aron Winter, Sonny Silooy and Michael Reiziger have also been appointed to various jobs with the junior teams.

  Van Nistelrooy scored 35 goals in 70 internationals for his country.The fomer Real Madrid former Madrid foward will work alongside Danny Blind, who will take over from Hiddink in 2018.
