James Rodriguez finally sign for Real Madrid.
Champions League winners Real Madrid have agreed a deal to sign Colombian star James Rodriguez.
The Monaco man has agreed a six-year contract with the La Liga giants and underwent his medical with the club on Tuesday morning.James is scheduled to be publicly unveiled in the Spanish capital this evening.
A statement on Monaco's official website read:"The club would like to take the opportunity to thank James for the role he played in getting the club back to the Champions League and we wish him the very best for the future.
"The club had no intention to sell the player, however the time came when the solution of a transfer was considered to be the most beneficial solution for all parties.
"Monaco is a club that will continue to grow and remain focused on the future.More than ever it has the ambition to strengthen the team and continue to progress for next season".
Neither club have confirmed the fee for the world cup golden ball winner but reports suggest the La Liga giant have paid in the region of 80 million euros(£63 million) making the 23-year old the fourth most expensive transfer of all time.
