Liverpool new player Adam Lallana to miss start of EPL.
Adam Lallana look set to miss the start of the English Premier League season after suffering a knee injury in training.
A statement on Liverpool website read:"Lallana sustained a knock to his lateral collateral ligament during a training session at the Reds' Harvard University training base in Boston.
"Lallana has been assessed by Liverpool's medical staff and does not require surgery.
"No specific time frame has been placed on a return to fitness, but injuries of this nature can result in a spell anywhere up to six weeks on the sidelines.
Liverpool has just recently signed the 26-year old midfielder Adam for £25 million.
