Ashley Cole signs two year-deal with AS Roma.

Former Chelsea defender Ashley Cole signs two year-deal with AS Roma.

 
The former blues defender who was released by his former club Chelsea fc during the summer has agreed a two year-deal with AS Roma after the end of his contract.

  It was revealed on sunday that Cole was to travel to Italy following successful negotiations with the serie A outfit.
The former England, and Chelsea defender who is an expert in clearing balls close to the goal-line, announced his international retirement after being overlooked by Roy Hodgson for England's dissapointing world cup campaign.
  Ashley turned to a back-up player last season following Mourinho's return to Chelsea, and was also deemed surplus to requirements by both his club and country at the end of the campaign.
  Ashley Cole signed for Chelsea from Arsenal in 2006 for 5 million and went on to play over 300 appearances for the club.He has also added the premier league, champions league, europa league, and five FA cups during his time at chelsea.
