West Ham lose key man.

Andy Carroll out for four months.

The West Ham United striker is set for surgery after a ankle ligament damage.

West Ham released a statement saying Andy would miss their remaining fixtures in             New Zealand as a precautionary measure, but reports suggest he could now be out until November.
Carroll wrote on his twitter account:"Going under the knife tomorrow morning and absolutely devastated to be missing the start of the season".
Carroll only played 15 Premier League games last season, scoring just two goals.
